My name is Alexis Raptis, I’m 21 years old and I’m a Crossfit Games athlete. I have two brothers so I grew up very competitive. Growing up I played soccer and eventually became a competitive gymnast. After dealing with multiple injures in gymnastics I decided to stop and try some new sports. I did diving, track, more soccer, and competitive cheer but nothing filled the void of training as much as I did with gymnastics. I found CrossFit my freshman year of high school and started when I was 15 years old. The following year in 2015, I qualified for the Crossfit Games in the teen division, and took 4th place. In 2016 I qualified for the Crossfit Games again and took 2nd. In 2017 I competed at the Central Regionals, and since then I’ve been on the hunt to make it back to the Crossfit Games! I’m also currently a full time student at the University of Utah, and getting my bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
